An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a fixed-term position with full-time hours. Candidates must have experience working as a SNA in classroom setting with students with a variety of needs - Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, ADHD, Challenging Behaviours and Complex Needs. Experience working in special classes with children with Autism including duties of assisting with toileting and general hygiene are desirable.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity. The successful candidates will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours.
Applicants who are seeking re-deployment must furnish a certified copy of completed PF1 Form with their application.
This appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with Garda Vetting requirements, Túsla Children First Certificate. pre-employment medical screening and Patron approval.
