Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and passionate primary teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year. Through STEM, this educator will play a pivotal role in cultivating curiosity and foundational knowledge in Math and Science across early years and primary grades.
The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate STEM lessons aligned with international standards and the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and make a lasting impact within a forward-thinking, bilingual educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver hands-on, age-appropriate STEM and Math lessons for students in elementary grades and some preschool classes
- Assess student learning and contribute to academic portfolios several times a year
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure interdisciplinary alignment and meaningful curriculum integration
- Communicate regularly and effectively with families about the STEM program and student progress
- Participate in the school’s overall assessment and evaluation process
- Engage actively in faculty meetings and broader school community events
- Lead some Science and Math-related extracurricular clubs or activities
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in primary education or early childhood
- Demonstrated passion for STEM and student-centered learning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- A commitment to international and multicultural education
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Singapore Math
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme
- Background in bilingual or international school environments
