Additional Information:
Setanta is a school for students with ASD aged 12 to 18, who have a Mild to Moderate Learning Disability. Setanta School employs both primary and secondary teachers, and utilises both the primary and secondary curriculum, with a particular emphasis on the Junior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Programmes (L1LP & L2LP). Maximum 6 students and a minimum of 2 SNAs in each class. Experience in special education, especially ASD, an advantage. The ability to work as part of a team essential. Desirable criteria for successful candidates includes the ability to work on their own initiative, while making a positive contribution to the school team. Teachers in Setanta School need to be inclusive, flexible and responsive to the needs of the studenta and the school.
