An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This post is in special education but the successful candidate may be asked to step into the special early intervention ASD (Preschool) classes for children with autism on occasion.
The following skills and qualifications are desirable:
- Previous experience of working with children with additional needs
-Experience in Team Teaching/In-Class Support for literacy and/or numeracy
-Writing SMART targets
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council registration, current Garda Vetting requirements, and Occupational Health Screening.
Only those shortlisted will receive correspondence from the school.
