An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Glenmore NS is seeking to appoint bus escorts. The escorts will accompany pupils on specialised bus transport from their homes to and from school.
This contract is subject to change should pupils join/leave the service.
Escorts must have their own transport to and from the school as this is the start point of the journey.
Hours of work: Morning: Approx. 8.00 - 9.00 am
Afternoons: Approx. 1.40pm - 2:40pm
Rate of pay: €15.50 per hour.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seat belts. Candidates will be expected to deal with parents and school staff in a professional way. They will need to communicate regarding pick ups, drop offs, illnesses, traffic. delays etc.
All appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting certification and TUSLA Children First.
