Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for TEACHING POST
which may arise for the 2025/2026 school year as follows:-
Ref. No. 017361 Art at Mid West School for the Deaf, Limerick -Fixed Term Pro Rata Contract - 10 hours per week. Irish Sign Language is desirable but not essential.
Applicants should note the following:
(a) Applicants for advertised posts must apply through LCETB website www.lcetb.ie Applications will only be accepted through the on-line recruitment system.
(b) It is necessary to complete only one application form for each Reference No.
(c) Please note that it is the responsibility of all applicants to ensure that completed application forms are submitted on-line to Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board by 12 noon on Wednesday, 9th July, 2025.
(d) Sanction, Conditions of Service and Appointment, Qualifications, Salary Scale, are in accordance with the regulations of the Department of Education.
(e) Criteria of Assessment: • Professional Qualifications
(f) Panels may also be formed from these competitions from which appointments may be made to fill vacancies equal to or of shorter duration than advertised.
(g) Any offer of employment will be conditional on the teacher being registered in accordance with Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act 2001.
(h) All vacancies are subject to the Directors of Redeployment agreeing to the posts being filled. • Interpersonal communication skills • Capacity to contribute to the overall development of a learning organisation. • Relevant Experience
(i) Shortlisting may apply. Candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of information supplied on their application form.
(j) Garda vetting will apply
