Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Kolbe Special School caters for students with a severe and profound learning disability and those with an additional diagnosis of autism.
The successful candidates will be working as part of a team of 32 SNAs, 10 teachers, 2 Nurses, 18 Bus Escorts, caretaker and secretary.
All necessary training will be provided such as manual handling etc.
The school is supported by the HSE CDNT team of a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Psychologist.
The successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and display a commitment to the ethos of the school.
All appointments are subject to sanction from the Dept. of Education.
