An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There are 2 posts available - 1 x full time post and 1 x 0.83 post.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.

We are looking for someone who:
- has a knowledge of complex needs, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, and emotional/behavioural difficulties.
- has strong communication with children, teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams; using appropriate language, visual supports, or assistive technology.
- will work effectively with class teachers, support teachers, other SNAs, and school leadership; following guidance and being flexible in role.
- will implement strategies such as positive reinforcement, de-escalation techniques, and structured routines.
