An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Patrick's B.N.S. is a DEIS Rural school.
Applications are invited for the position of SNA to join the AS Class at the school.
We invite individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Experience working with children with Autism, emotional / behavioural needs is essential.
Candidates must be flexible and responsive to the care needs of the children and the school and willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school.
The successful candidates are expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Support a positive, diverse and inclusive learning environment
• Respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.
