An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Gabriel’s is a Special School for 65 pupils aged 4-18 years of age who experience a primary complex physical disability with or without complex medical needs. Many of our students have also been assessed as having moderate, severe/ profound learning disabilities. Experience of working in a similar special school setting will be considered advantageous. The desired applicant will have experience working as part of an SNA team within a classroom and be able to demonstrate initiative in helping students with special needs access the curriculum.
