An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the day of Tuesday 10th June, 2025, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Dublin. The closing date for receipt of
expressions of interest was the 15th of June, 2025. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 18th day of June,2025
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

PPS George's Hill is a coeducational school with one stream of each class from JI to 6th class. We have 2 primary age autism classes and 1 early years autism class. We are a school who are on our Restorative practice journey. We foster a nurturing environment not just for our students but for our staff and whole school community. We work on building relationships and creating a space that is fun, creative, inclusive and safe for everyone. We have two sensory rooms, a Nurture room, a soft play space and a fairy garden in our school. We have a newly installed lift make our school fully accessible and have a new hall space for sports.
