An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are a junior mainstream school with 3 special classes. These 2 part time positions (1x .83 and 1x .5) have arisen due to current Job Sharing arrangements which have been sanctioned for the next school year. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and experience. Experience of working with young children with additional needs is highly desirable. Candidates must be willing to uphold the ethos of the school. The candidates must display a strong work ethic, flexibility and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. They must also show willingness to be involved in school activities. The successful candidates will be expected to respect the dignity and the confidentiality of the pupils and will be expected to avail of further training as required. Initial duties may be subject to change. The proposed date for in person interviews will be the first week of July 2025.
The appointments will be subject to current vetting requirements, confirmation of qualifications and occupational health screening (Medmark).
These positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
