An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Red Door School is seeking to appoint an SNA for fixed-term position for 25-26 school year. This is a one year appointment to cover a job-share arrangement in place.

We also have 1 Standard SNA posts and one 0.5 SNA post available at present. The 1 Standard posts and 0.5 post will be advertised seperately.

The Red Door School is a school for children with Autism and complex needs. Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in the use of augmentative communication and assistive teaching technologies for pupils with ASD, knowledge of the ethos of The Red Door School, demonstrate the ability to work within a team, have experience working from behavioural support plans and managing behaviours of concern.

Interviews will take place in July.
