Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited for the position of a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in a mainstream setting for 24 hours a week. This post is subject to review by the NCSE (National Council for Special Education) and SENO (Special Educational Needs Organiser) as part of the annual SNA allocation process.
The position will commence on 1/9/2025- 31/8/2026.
Essential Criteria:
• Candidates must have the relevant qualifications as per DES Circular 0051/2019.
• Experience working with children with additional needs in a mainstream setting is desirable.
Additional Information:
• The successful candidate will be subject to Garda Vetting and must provide Statutory Declaration and Form of Undertaking prior to appointment.
• Please include Panel Form (PF1) if applicable.
• Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and OHS clearance.
