Scoil Naomh Muire is a catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork and Ross. There are 6 mainstream classes and 3 special classes. We are a rural co-educational school with an administrative Principal, 13 teachers and 10 Special Needs Assistants. We have an enrolment of 160 pupils.
It is expected that applicants will have a clear understanding of and a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school. Applicants must hold a certificate to teach Religious Education.
The roles and responsibilities of the post are determined by the four domains of leadership and management as set out in Circular 0044/2019.

3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity.
The successful applicant will have an understanding and knowledge of the requirements associated with the provision of Special Education Needs, special classes, inclusion ad diversity.
