An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The post is a fixed term SNA half Day 0.66 post (21 hrs and 20 mins).
The school has two special classes for children with ASD. The successful candidate may be required to work in either an ASD special class or mainstream setting and will be expected to support children with a wide range of care needs including ASD, ADHD, Diabetes management, Epilepsy, toileting needs, non-verbal communication needs and challenging behaviour. Further details of the duties attaching to the role are available by consulting Circular 0030/2014.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with Garda Vetting requirements, pre-employment medical screening and Patron approval.
