An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Additional Needs Assistant (SNA) who is committed to supporting the inclusion, wellbeing, and development of children in the school setting. The position is part-time (16 hours per week) for the 2025/2026 school year.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs, including autism and ADHD, and will demonstrate a calm, empathetic, and patient approach. Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills are essential, along with a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn. The successful applicant will be professional, trustworthy, and passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every child can thrive. Familiarity with inclusive practices, School Support Plans/IEPs, and sensory supports is highly desirable.
