An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Brigid’s National School is a Catholic co-ed school catering for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class, located in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
We have 16 mainstream classes and are opening our first special class for autism this September 2025.
Our school is opening an autism class and therefore we are advertising to fill the following posts:
SNA Standard Day Post x 2
SNA job share position x 1
We are inviting applications from candidates who are highly motivated, committed and forward-thinking SNA’s, who display adaptivity, creativity and initiative. The successful candidate will support children with care needs including autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, toileting needs and non-verbal communication needs. Experience and/or training in working with children with autism is desirable.
