An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a fixed-term position for the duration of the 2025-2026 school year. The intended role is for Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class (multigrade). This may be subject to change.
Granagh N.S is a Catholic School and the successful applicant must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
- Probation
- Experience of teaching in a multigrade setting
- A demonstration of committment to CPD
- Teaching children with a range of additional needs
- Experience with team-teaching and in-class support
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting Requirements and Occupational Health screening.
