An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This post is initially in a mainstream setting, however the successful applicant may be required to work in both a mainstream setting and in an autism class as directed by the Principal
The appointment is subject to but not limited to Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and satisfactory references. Please include form PF1 form with your application ( if applicable).
Experience working as a SNA in a special class setting with students with a variety of needs - Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviours and Complex Needs would be of benefit.
Fluency In Irish is desirable but not essential. Candidates must work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training/ professional development. Successful candidates will be expected to complete Croke Park hours throughout the year.
