An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management wishes to invite expressions of interest in the advertised permanent vacancy with initial duties in mainstream or autism class teaching from the teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Dublin. An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management at the following email jobapplicationsgeorgeshill@gmail.com by the 15th day of June, 2025 , being 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement.

We have positions in 3 of our autism classes as well as mainstream classes.

Presentation Primary School is a DEIS Band 1 primary school located in the heart of Dublin city. We are currently seeking a committed and resilient teacher to join our dedicated team.

Our school community faces a number of social and emotional challenges, and many of our pupils benefit from additional support in developing their emotional regulation, social skills, and positive learning behaviours. As such, the successful candidate will bring strong relationship-building skills, a calm and consistent classroom presence, and a belief in the potential of every child.

At Presentation Primary Georges Hill, teachers are central to the care and progress of our pupils. We work closely as a team, supported by Restorative and trauma-informed practices, a strong code of positive behaviour, and ongoing professional development.

Experience in DEIS settings or with positive behaviour strategies is very beneficial but not essential.
