An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Permanent (0.83 post)- Special class setting
Fixed Term (0.5 post)- 3 hours daily
Fixed Term (0.5 Job share post)
Candidates are required to have the minimum qualifications as per DES guidelines.
Experience of working in primary school settings is advantageous. Additional, relevant courses successfully completed would be highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience of working with children with Autism is highly desirable.
Candidates should have an excellent understanding of dealing with pupils with ADHD and challenging behaviours.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent care skills for pupils with complex medical conditions including Diabetes, Epilepsy and Asthma.
The successful candidates will be joining a well-established team and will be expected to have very good interpersonal skills, demonstrable team-work abilities and a keen willingness to take the initiative.
