An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Post Details
We are delighted to invite applications for two substitute teaching positions covering maternity leave in mainstream classes:

• Position 1: Maternity Leave from August 26th, 2025
• Position 2: Substitute teaching position from August 26th to mid-October 2025, followed immediately by maternity leave cover.

The successful candidates will join a supportive and collaborative staff dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning.

Applicants should demonstrate:
• Experience in multi-grade teaching environments
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and collaboration
• A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
• A Certificate in Religious Education

Appointment is subject to:
• Satisfactory references
• Valid Teaching Council registration
• Completion of up-to-date Garda Vetting requirements
• Pre-employment occupational health screening, if required by the Department of Education
