An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are opening a new special class for pupils with ASD. This means we will gain an additional permanent teaching post at the school which has been recently sanctioned. However, we have a number of other vacancies- mainstream and SET as well as Special Class Teacher. 1 permanent and 2 x fixed term in total. We will appoint the new permanent teacher to the role they are best suited to depending on qualifications and preference - mainstream, SET or Special Class.
