Additional Information:
This is a full – time teaching position (primary school hours and holidays) with the additional duties of Deputy Principal.
Eligibility for the position are below:
• A minimum of 5 years recognised teaching experience, two of which must be in a recognised primary school or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
• Be fully registered under Route 1 (primary), Route 4 (other) or Route 2 (post-primary) with the Teaching Council.
The following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
*Proven leadership skills, including policy development and implementation.
*Teaching experience in a very disadvantaged community and/ or of students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
*Proven ability to work as a member of a team in a collaborative manner.
* Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative and evidence-based initiatives.
*Ability to promote a culture of learning and creativity in the school.
*Ability to work collaboratively with all staff members and the wider school community.
Completed application forms should be submitted to the Chairperson BOM no later than 5.00pm on Thursday 19th June 2025
