An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Iosaf is a wonderfully warm and friendly school with a lovely positive atmosphere for children and staff. We are currently seeking 5 fixed-term positions for Mainstream classes. We also have two full-year substitute positions (parental leave and maternity).

Applicants should be willing to be part of a dynamic team, interested in digital learning and have an in-depth understanding of differentiation, literacy, numeracy and the new Primary Curriculum and Framework. We also welcome applicants with an interest in teaching in Réalta, our special classes for pupils on the Autism Spectrum. All applicants must be qualified primary teachers, registered with the teaching council, and have a certificate to teach Religion in a Catholic school.
