This is a teaching-principal post. Ballyoughter NS is a thriving rural primary school with 3 mainstream teachers, 1 full-time SET and 2 full-time SNAs.
Applications are invited from fully registered teachers (under Route 1 (primary) with the teaching council).
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:
- An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and a broad range of teaching experience.
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- A commitment to, and evidence of, continuing and relevant professional development.
- Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload
- Experience in SET role would be preferable (but not necessary)
- Occupational Health Screening
A minimum number of 5 applications required for the competition to proceed
