An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Joseph’s school invites applications for the following SNA posts:
three 0.8 posts for full academic year
one 0.5 Jobshare post for full academic year
St. Joseph's school caters for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with Mild General Learning disabilities and other additional needs. St. Joseph's school is under the patronage of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore.
Experience of working in a special school/special class setting is desirable. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with promotion of positive behaviour strategies, an ability to be flexible within a team and display a strong work ethic.
