Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with Supplementary rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed panel form (PF1) with their application.
Experience of working with children in a school setting with ASD, EBD and Down Syndrome is highly desirable. This position will involve working closely with the class teacher and other S.N.A's in support of children with special needs. It may require working with one or more children with special needs during the school day.
Experience of working in a DEIS Band 1 school is advantageous. Experience of working with children with Autism and other additional care needs is a plus.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda vetting and OHS requirements.
Our SNA allocation is subject to review at any stage.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email if called to interview.
