An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This post is to cover a job-share SET position for school year 2025/2026.
Initial duties as Special Education Teacher.
The following experience, skills and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of working with pupils with additional needs.
Extra curricular Experience/Skills in areas of Music, IT or other areas of interest
In addition, experience in the following would be advantageous:
Team-teaching/In class support for Maths or Literacy/ Literacy Lift-off/ Guided Reading/other Literacy/Numeracy initiatives
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council registration, Current Garda vetting requirements as detailed in DES circular 0031/2016, OHS screening and satisfactory references.
