An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Enable Ireland Sandymount School is a special school for students aged 4-18 with physical and complex needs.
We have 1 Permanent Position, 4 Fixed Term Positions and 1 Maternity leave until the Christmas Holidays available.

The curriculum is adapted for our students. We offer L1LP and L2LP.
Experience working with students with SEN is desirable but enthusiasm, interest and dedication to working with the students to develop them to their full potential is extremely important. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to work within and lead a class team.

Applicants should also demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in working with pupils with complex needs.
It would be desirable for candidates to have experience of working in a special school.
