An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Chormaic Community National School is a multi-belief school which welcomes pupils of all beliefs and none. The school is committed to a spirit of excellence in education, equality, and partnership in education. Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board are our Patrons. The school classes up to sixth class and four ASD special classes. Scoil Chormaic CNS is located in a new permanent building in the Stephenstown area of Balbriggan. This school is a Droichead school. There may be the option to complete Droichead with a class.
