The Board of Management of St. Colman’s N.S.- Conahy invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Deputy Principal, with effect from 1st September 2025. This is a key leadership role within the school, and the appointment will be made via open competition.
The Deputy Principal will work in close collaboration with the Principal, Board of Management, school staff, parents, and the wider school community to promote excellence in teaching and learning.
The roles and responsibilities for this position are aligned with the four domains of leadership and management as outlined in Circular 0044/2019:
Leading Teaching and Learning
Managing the Organisation
Leading School Development
Developing Leadership Capacity
Demonstrated leadership experience in a school setting is highly desirable
