An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Danu Community Special School, caters for students aged 4- 18 years in Dublin 15 with ASD, and moderate or severe intellectual disability, with complex needs invites applications for special class teachers. The positions are open to fully qualified Primary and Post Primary teachers recognised under route 1 (Primary), Route 2 (Post Primary) and Route 4 (Other) with the Teaching Council. Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of PECS, Lamh, Positive Behaviour management strategies is an advantage. The school participates in the Droichead Programme and is specifically supported by CDNT clinicians from Blanchardstown. Appointments subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Interviews week beginning 17.6.25.
