An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Portlaoise ETNS is a vibrant school of 19 Mainstream classes and 2 Autism classes. We are passionate about the Educate Together ethos. Our school contributes positively to the local community and our staff lead the way in curricular and extra-curricular provision.
Our current fixed-term vacancies are in mainstream, SET, and EAL positions but all staff will be expected to work across all areas of the school upon request.
Commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs is essential.
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council registration, current garda vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening and satisfactory references. Please apply for the position by 2pm on the closing date of 14th June 2025. Interviews will take place during the week of Monday 23rd June.
