An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Offaly School of Special Education caters for pupils aged 4-18 with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. This position whilst classed as a substitute will be full time, 5 days a week and is expected to be until 30th June 2026.
This vacancy is for a position in a severe and profound multiple disability class. Experience in this type of setting would be desirable but is not essential. However, enthusiasm and commitment are essential. The teacher will lead a team of 3 or 4 SNAs and will work closely with a nurse as well.
