An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Saint Mary's Special School is dedicated to supporting students with severe and profound general learning disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum and individuals with complex medical needs. We welcome students aged 4 to 18 years.

Please note that both job positions are for job shares, with a duration of one year each. When applying, kindly mark the envelope with "SNA Job Share Position."

Applicants should possess a Level 6 qualification or its equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as Early Childhood Education or a Special Needs Assistant Course. While prior experience in a special school setting is not required, it is considered advantageous.
