The vacancy is for an administrative principal teacher.
The successful candidate must be fully registered with the Teaching Council, be Garda vetted and appropriately qualified.
The successful candidate should be a person capable of leading the school community in a time of considerable curriculum change.
The roles and responsibilities of the post are outlined in the four domains of Leadership and Management DES Circular 0044/2019 and relate to Leading Teaching and Learning, Managing the Organisation, Leading School Development and developing Leadership Capacity.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, proven to lead policy development and implementation, have strong organisational skills and be able to communicate and work productively with the wider community.
