Danu Community Special School is a DDLETB school that caters for students with ASD, and moderate and severe intellectual disability and complex needs aged 4- 18 years in Dublin 15.
We are excited as we are opening new classes in our school in term 3, and seek a dynamic and talented teacher to do so and join our exceptional teaching team from now until 30th June 2025 as a Temporary Fixed Term Special Class Teacher..
Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a school team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of ASD, PECS, Lamh, Positive behaviour management strategies, Junior/Senior Cycle is an advantage. The school participates in the Droichead Programme. School visits are facilitated to candidates interested.Please contact the school office 01-8270755.
Commencement appointment date with immediate effect pending subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
