POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time job-sharing position. The job-share would operate on a week on- week off basis The post is subject to continued NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Qualifications as set out by the Department of Education required for this post (see DES Circular 0051/2019). Duties of the post are as outlined in the Department of Education Circular 0030/2014. Duties of the post are subject to change depending on the care needs of the pupils and the school.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the online Tusla Child Safeguarding training.
Experience working with children with ASD, OT needs, emotional/ behavioural difficulties and intimate care/ toileting needs is desirable.
