An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is for 0.83 of a post (25.56 hrs. Infant Day) and is subject to SENO review. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a copy of the completed Panel Form PF1 with their application.

- We are seeking persons who demonstrate the highest standards of confidentiality in all aspects of their role and have a strong commitment to maintaining the trust of children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in working with children with ASD, ADHD, emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential.

The successful candidate will need to satisfy DES Vetting and Occupational Health requirements.

Dooish N.S. has 8 Mainstream Classes and a Special Class for Pupils with Autism called the 'Abbey Class' S.N.As may be rotated at different times to support pupils with autism and other complex needs right throughout the school.
