An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Please note that this position is for the infant school day, 8.50 - 1.30.
Candidates must possess:
An excellent understanding of the role of the SNA, as per circular 30/2014.
An excellent understanding of the role of the SNA in the context of addressing the specific care needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs, specifically Autism and Dravet Syndrome.
Experience of working with children with toileting care needs.
Experience of using Lamh and TEACCH.
The following is required with your application:
Certificate outlining that Child Protection/Safeguarding Training has been undertaken within the last 3 months.
A copy of the child safeguarding certificate must be included in your application.
Names, roles and contact numbers for at least two professional referees from an educational setting in which you have worked.
Canvassing will disqualify.
Candidates must possess:
