Position: School Cleaner (2 positions available)
Location: Castledermot
Employment Type: Part-time Hours:17.5

Overview: We are seeking two reliable and detail-oriented cleaners to join our school maintenance team. The successful candidates will work alternating shifts throughout the week to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises. Both cleaners will work together on Fridays to address the heavier cleaning workload.

Key Details:

Shifts:

Cleaner A: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Cleaner B: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 6-hour shifts (11:30 AM - 5:30 PM).

Friday: Both cleaners work a 5.5-hour shift together (total: 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Weekly Hours:

Each cleaner works 17.5 hours per week over three days.


Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing designated areas.

Clean classrooms, Staffroom, toilets, and common areas, according to assigned schedules.

On Fridays, collaborate to complete deep cleaning of all halls, stairways, and both upper and lower levels of the school.

Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.

Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the supervisor.

Requirements:

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Physical capability to handle cleaning equipment and perform tasks requiring manual effort.

Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Flexibility to work collaboratively with a teammate on Fridays.
