An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of management initially advertised this position as a permanent position on the website staffroom.ie on the Thursday 17th October 2024 for teachers listed on the supplementary panel of the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was Monday 21st October 2024 being 5 calendar days form the date of advertisement.
Following no expressions of interest, the closing date for receipt of expressions of interest for teachers on the relevant Supplementary panel was extended by advertisement on staffroom.ie to Thursday 24th October 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy in a fixed term capacity as time does not allow for it to be filled in a permanent capacity. The successful candidates duties will be as a Supply Panel teacher.
The Supply Panel provides substitutable support to a total of 21 schools within a 20 mile radius including the Offaly Special School of Education, Gaelscoil an Eiscir Riada and other mainstream schools with ASD classes attached.
