Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St Mary’s School is a school for children with a Mild Intellectual Disability 4-18 years old and has four ASD specific classes between the mild to moderate range for pupils aged 6 - 18 years old.
We currently have a position for a bus escorts for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for an escorts available to start work in the Rochestown/Douglas area
This is for immediate start/ two new routes that have gone to tender subject to vetting etc.
The escort will accompany pupils on a bus from their home to and from St Mary’s School in Rochestown each day. The escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons, 5 days per week.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the child on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc. Relevant experience would be highly desirable. You will be required to complete appropriate training for any medical needs.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate character references.
