Stewarts School is a special school catering for students with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disability aged 5 -18 years. In addition, many students are autistic. The students at post-primary level engage in Junior Cycle Level 1 Programmes.
The school is a new build which has been specifically developed to meet the complex needs of its community and features purpose-built classrooms, music room, IT room, PE hall, sensory areas, dedicated meeting rooms, library, outdoor play areas and a canteen.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. CPD and training will be provided as needed.
The school participates in the Droichead Programme. All applicants registered with the Teaching Council are eligible for consideration.
