An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

It is essential to have relevant experience, skills and qualifications working with young children in a primary school setting. Experience working with children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs is highly desirable. Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training and have a willingness to get involved in school initiatives.

This appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with Garda Vetting requirements, Túsla Children First Certificate. pre-employment medical screening and Patron approval.
