POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The vacant posts are for a 0.5 position (16 hours) and a 0.66 position (21 hrs and 20 mins) and are subject to NCSE review, as with all SNA posts.
Knowledge and experience of working with children with physical, sensory, learning and complex additional needs is desirable.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity.
A minimum FETAC level 5 qualification is preferable.
The successful candidates will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours (Croke Park hours). He or she should be available to attend school on Wednesday 28th August.
The successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and of school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.

Appointment is subject but not limited to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening, satisfactory references and completion of the online TUSLA Children's First training.
