Solas Hospital School is co-located with Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. As a hospital school we deliver education across various hospital settings, including both 1:1 sessions at the bedside and small multi-level groups in classroom settings. We provide an education service to children aged 4 to 18 yrs and across the full spectrum of educational needs.
To qualify for appointment candidates must be able to comply with the following:
Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 1 (Primary) or Route 2 (Post-Primary)
Experience teaching in a medical setting with students with medical needs is desirable
Ability to support students beyond your qualified subjects and facilitate learning in all post-primary subject areas is beneficial.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period.
