An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

2 mainstream fixed-term projected enrolment posts arising from our developing school status
1 full-time fixed-term EAL
1 full-time fixed-term SET
All the fixed-term posts are sanctioned until the 25th October, after which they may be suppressed if the projected enrolment number is not achieved by 30th September 2024.
If the projected enrolment number is achieved, three of these positions will become permanent and will then be advertised as permanent posts. The EAL post, if not suppressed, will remain fixed-term for the year.
About our School
Leixlip ETNS is newly established and rapidly developing school. We first opened our doors to eleven Junior Infants children in 2019. Since then, we have grown rapidly and in September 2024, we hope to have 180 pupils from Junior Infants to Fifth class.
We are a vibrant, creative and inclusive child-centred school and we are looking for four new teachers who would be excited about the prospect of being part of a new and developing school.
We are inviting applications from enthusiastic, committed and creative teachers who display leadership, positivity, adaptivity, creativity, initiative and utmost professionalism to become part of our amazing team of 12 teachers.
